Courier Delivery Service
CDLC facilitates delivery of interlibrary loan materials to member libraries by coordinating delivery through A.L.Delivery Services Inc., a commercial delivery service. CDLC works collaboratively with Mohawk Valley Library System, the Southern Adirondack Library System, and the Upper Husdon Library System to provide delivery service for the libraries of the region.
The courier runs Monday through Friday, except major holidays, stopping at New York State Library, public and school library systems, and the member libraries listed below from one to five times per week. CDLC member libraries subscribe to the courier service at a per-stop fee. Courier routes for the region are established, and most deliveries occur between 8 am and 3 pm. Routes and times are subject to change.
All envelopes, bags and packages must be clearly marked with the A.L.Delivery Services delivery code for the destination library (see the Courier Codes list below). Please refer to Courier Guidelines for complete information.
