NOVEL databases

NOVEL Databases is a project that enables libraries across New York State to give their communities online access to the full text of hundreds of journals, newspapers and other references. Currently, the NOVEL Databases Project provides online access to over a dozen databases including: Health & Wellness Resoure Center, National Newspaper Index, MasterFILE Select (magazines), Business & Company Resource Center and more.

Provided by the New York State Library, NOVEL connects New Yorkers to 21st century information. NOVEL is supported with temporary federal Library Services and Technology Act funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). New Century Libraries is a proposal for permanent state funding for NOVEL.
