Welcome to the Capital District Library Council
The Capital District Library Council (CDLC), one of New York's nine Reference and Research Library Resources Systems, is located in Albany, NY. CDLC is a regional multi-type library organization serving academic, public, school & special libraries & library systems in Albany, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington Counties. Our purpose is to enhance access to information, encourage resource sharing, and promote library interests for all CDLC Members. Holiday Closures: CDLC Offices will be closed on July 3rd in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.
Summer Hours: From June 1st through September 8th CDLC will be open from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.

Follow the link for online access to digitized materials from Libraries, archives, historical societies, museums and cultural organizations in the Capital District Library Council's region. Questions about specific items included in the web site should be directed to the institution that holds the item(s).
The New York 3Rs Association's digital heritage web site, www.newyorkheritage.org, connects more than 160 digital collections from around the state. Images for the site are contributed by libraries, archives, museums and other cultural institutions, and build on existing digital repository services administered by each of the nine reference and research library resources councils.
