Hospital Library Service Program - SAVE (Shared Audio Visuals/Equipment)
The SAVE Consortium began in 1977 as an effort to provide quality staff education to hospitals and nursing homes. By sharing their resources, SAVE members were able to upgrade the in-service education and thus enhance the level of patient care. In 1998 the SAVE Consortium was absorbed into CDLC under the HSLP "umbrella." As a result SAVE video materials are now available for use by any CDLC or HSLP member.
Approximately three hundred videos of various formats are available for loan. Materials are loaned for a 2-week period. The borrowing organization is responsible for returning the videos in good condition. Follow the link to see the SAVE Videos list (in pdf format).
