CDLC Digital Collections
Capital District Library Council Digital Collections, now a part of New York Heritage Digital Collections, provides online access to digitized materials from libraries, archives, historical societies, museums and cultural organizations in the Capital District Library Council's region, covering Albany, Fulton, Hamilton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington counties of New York State.
The original CDLC Digital Collections website was unveiled in late 2008 with items contributed by the ten institutions that were part of the pilot project. Now over twenty participating organizations continue to add digitized material from their collections. The original CDLC Digital Collections site can be accessed via the link, but users should be aware that this site has not had additions since mid-2011.

Digital Collections Advisory Committee
The Digital Collections Advisory Committee was approved by the CDLC Board of Trustees in November, 2009. The Committee is charged with advising CDLC on issues related to CDLC Digital Collections. Responsibilities of the committee include, but are not limited to, providing input on:
- goals and direction of the project
- guidelines and technical matters, such as software choices and web site design
- publicity related to CDLC Digital Collections
- policies for participation in CDLC Digital Collections
The Digital Collections Advisory Committee works with the Regional Automation Advisory Committee in areas of mutual interest.
