| Event Description | This exhibit looks at signature quilts and commemorative quilts as documents that can shed light on many aspects of local history. This exhibit in the gallery adjacent ot RCHS's research library will highlight the museum's quilt collection in a new way. Included will be a 1922 WCTU quilt from Lansingburgh recently acquired by the museum, two quilts made from shirt fabrics that illustrate that major local industry, Troy's Bicentennial Quilt and a "crazy quilt" that incorporates silk ribbons from local organizations. Anewly made Troy Quilt completed in 2005 will be on loan for the exhibition. Related archival collections and research will also be presented. |

Homemade pie and coffee and tea available. Harmony Hall has a rich, historical heritage. Built in 1892 as the Farmers' Club, it is now a thriving community center. Proceeds from this event will help build a new roof for the Hall. |

They will view Stoddard's Lake George photos which preserve the flavor and style of the early 1800's and 90's.
