CaDiLaC Online 2.0
Welcome to the new and improved CaDiLaC Online 2.0 !
CaDiLaC Online 2.0 uses Index Data’s MasterKey™ information delivery platform to provide a cost-effective, state-of-the-art discovery tool. This service offers one-stop search access to the holdings of our member libraries and library systems, incorporating such functionality as faceted searching and a simple click-through access to each catalog. Enhancements of this product will be incorporated into CaDiLaC Online 2.0 as they become available.
Because many people missed CaDiLaC, we have unveiled CaDiLaC Online 2.0 even before help screens or FAQs are finished. At this time CaDiLaC 2.0 DOES NOT search CDLC's Union List of Serials. We are investigating the possibility of including access to the Union List of Serials in the future.
The most important points you need to know are noted below, so be sure to read them before you start. We hope that you will let us know if you have questions or suggestions.
- When viewing search results, click on a holding library catalog name, rather than title or author, to see full bibliographic information.
- When clicking into some member library catalogs, there may be times when you will need to enter your search again.
- When searching CDLC’s Partial Union Catalog (PUC) you will always see a status of “available”. This result shows because the PUC catalog does not include any circulation information.
- Please continue to use your current ILL protocols for all interlibrary loans.
Stay tuned for updates as we continuously work to improve CaDiLaC Online 2.0 !
