The Capital District Library Council encourages personal and library members to become informed about state and federal legislation important to libraries. Participation in the legislative process is an important step in assuring that legislators and other public officials understand the role libraries play in our region. Information about current New York State legislation as well as advocacy resource materials can be found at the New York Library Association website.
